Albany Ford dealer, Johnson Ford, is teaming up with Berkshire Community College in celebration of Earth month. To show their support and encourage community members to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles, Johnson Ford has donated a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid to be on display at Berkshire Community College. The car will be on display April 22nd and April 30th. Johnson Ford hopes the community will embrace the new eco-friendly cars of the future by exploring opportunities to learn more about their benefits.
The Ford Fusion Hybrid is one of the most decorated and celebrated vehicles in Ford’s lineup. It holds the titles of the 2010 North American Car of the Year, the 2010 Car of the Year by the Detroit Auto Show and Motor Trend’s 2010 Car of the Year—to name a few.
The Fusion combines the advanced technology of a hybrid with a refined interior and a fun to drive personality. The 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid offers 41 mpg in the city and is a perfect fit for consumers of all ages and lifestyles. US News and World report summed it up accurately when they said, “With its midsize car practicality and a fuel economy rating that beats most other hybrids, the car is versatile enough to find its way onto the lists of hybrid and non-hybrid shoppers”.
The Fusion not only looks good, it can perform too. Ford estimates that the 2010 Fusion Hybrid will accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in nine seconds – half a second faster than a four-cylinder Fusion. From earth friendly to powerful performance, the Ford Fusion Hybrid is breaking down barriers for Hybrid cars. Johnson Ford hopes the community will learn that Hybrid vehicles are just as stylish, powerful and fun to drive as non-hybrids. The Fusion is also available as a non-hybrid.
